Bio: I was born in Brady, Texas, March 2, 1950, and grew up in a large extended family setting. At 18 I attended college at SanAngelo State University and true to my nature joined Beta Sigma Phi, the college drill team and started my studies on becoming a teacher. (My dream from the age of five.) My husband of 28 years is my best friend. We take time to “play” when we go to Civil War Reenactments and Balls. I have two marvelous sons, Matthew, his wife Brandy and grandson Jagger, who live in Arizona, and Michael who lives in Colorado. I take care of stray animals and am the proud owner of four Chihuahuas. Reading is my passion. My favorite activity is to have a fabulous book to read in front of a warm toasty fire with snow piling up outside. I don’t ski in the winter, but I do enjoy camping out during the summer.

Bio: I was born and raised in a small town in southern Illinois where I was surrounded by farm land. Upon graduation I moved to the Houston, Texas metro area where I lived for six years. I moved with my family to Colorado in 1997 and have lived in Littleton since then. Education: Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University, 2004 Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology from University of Colorado at Denver, 2007 Bio: I grew up outside of a small rural town in Michigan on a farm and graduated from a high school that had fewer students than Powell! I attended Michigan State University and love following Spartan sports. After I graduated, I moved to Colorado to attend graduate school. I have lived in Colorado since 2004 and enjoy one of the state’s great pastimes of snowboarding. I have worked with students and teenagers in various settings since I moved to Colorado, including: public schools, alternative schools, charter schools, and residential treatment.
