Education: Bachelor of Science in Education/Elementary Education, University of Central Missouri; Master of Science in Education/Elementary School Administration, UCM; Reading Specialist, UCM; Education Specialist/Superintendent, UCM; Doctor of Education/General Administration & Elementary Curriculum, University of Missouri-Columbia
Experience: I am a ½ time instructional coach at Powell Middle School and an affiliate faculty member of Regis University in the Educational Leadership Program. I joined the Powell Middle School staff in 2001. Prior to moving to Colorado, I worked in Missouri and Illinois. I began my career as an elementary classroom teacher and a reading specialist then moved to positions as a reading program coordinator and a special education coordinator. Those work experiences were followed by a variety of administrative positions including principal and assistant superintendent. While working in the Kansas City, Missouri area, I became a member of the Metropolitan Effective Instruction Cadre, a group of teacher trainers providing training in innovative teaching practices to member school districts. I left public school education in 1999 to join Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois as a full time faculty member and Chair of the teacher certification program.
Personal: I enjoy competitive sports as a spectator and participant. My current passion is Senior Softball which begins in March and ends the first week in August. I also enjoy cooking as a spectator and participant.

Mrs. Amy McIntosh
Position: Instructional Coach/ District Coordinator for AVID
Education: BA in History with a minor in English Literature from DePauw University
MA in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Northern Colorado
Bio: I am a product of the Littleton Public Schools having attended Newton Middle School, Powell Middle School, and Arapahoe
High School. I have taught for 19 years starting at Mrachek Middle School in the Aurora Public Schools where I taught 8th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. My other 18 years have been at Powell Middle School teaching 8th grade Language Arts and Social Studies (12 years), serving as an Assistant Principal (2 years), and working as one of the Instructional Coaches (4 years). I also am the District Coordinator for the AVID program.
I am married to a wonderful man and we have two children. In my spare time I like to read, hike, and play with my family.
